The data code simply encodes the keys according to the assignments in the following table.

The NEC code format supports the full defined set of infrared commands.

Handset Keycodes

The following table details the functions assigned to each of the keys according to the mode of operation

of the handset; namely whether in SoundServer, TV or Amplifier control mode.

In TV and Amplifier control modes the IR codes generated are from a library of TV or AV Amplifier codes

respectively that is stored in the handset. The desired code is programmed by the user by the procedure

outlined in the previous section.
